Possessed!?!

I thought this band was dead!!!! Apparently not and even more!

Possessed kicks ass. Good to see them back.

The lead singer can't walk and will be performing in a wheelchair, as far as I know. Will certainly be a weird thing to see at a metal concert.

lol as much as i loved Seven Churches, i laugh when i picture this singer popping wheelies around the stage.

not to make light of his handicap.

btw: Sadistic Intent is badass!

I wonder who else is in the band. Wonder if that PRimus guy will be with them. He should.

The new Possessed is Jeff Becerra and the band playing the instruments is the guys from Sadistic Intent.

great band,good to see they're still at it.

I never got into this band for some reason i guess Slayer and Dark Angel was all i needed.

That was Larry Lalonde wasn't it? He also recorded with Blind Illusion (another quirky Bay Area thrash band from back when) with Les Claypool (also from Primus).

Seven Churches is a raging thrash/death album! It's the real start to the death metal style IMO. My friends were all afraid of it (and other stuff I listened to) and thought I was mental back in the day.

I have that Blind Illusion cassette. It's killer! Wish they would reish' that!

They're playing at Wacken this year.

Very influential in the 80's! I thought Beyond The Gates was their best effort despite the tinny production.

One of my brother's friends took his old SEVEN CHURCHES LP to a Primus show some years ago and got Larry LaLonde to sign it. He said Larry actually laughed and said "wow, I haven't seen one of these in a LONG time"

I saw his video yesterday on Facebook, was pretty cool to see. He still has a ways to go, but I'm guessing with physical therapy and practice, we might see him strutting around on stage jamming with his bass guitar again.
