Mine too. Soul Rotation would probably be on any desert Island disc list I would come up with.
Trip to LA this weekend
From Amoeba
Malice - License To Kill (no idea why the prices on this one have doubled recently, so I thought I better get it while someone still had it at ten) Kingdom Come - Bad Image Honeymoon Suite - The Big Prize Savatage - Power Of The Night UNsane - Occupational Hazard & AmRep Christmas Live album Casualties - For The Punx Cardinal Sin - Resurrection Coven - Worship New Gods The Cars - s/t Deluxe Edition
and the big find was
Hallowed - s/t with bonus tracks (ten bucks!)
From Rockaway
Loudness - Eve To Dawn Tankard - A Girl Called Cerveza Magnum - Chase The Dragon w/bonus tracks Monarch - s/t Legacy - s/t National Velvet - Courage Masters Of Reality - Sunrise On The Sufferbus Grand Funk - Shinin On Bad Wizard - Free And Easy Vanishing Point - Embrace The Silence Japanese version with obi New York Dolls - Dancing Backwards In High Heels China White - Addiction US Bombs - The World Pulp - Different Class 2 discer The Church - Sometime Anywhere 2 disc Pretenders - Learning TO Crawl reissue MLP (the bonus tracks just might be better than anything on the album and I love this album. No idea why they weren't put on there to begin with) Rancid - Let The Dominoes Fall 3 disc King Missile - Mystical Sh*t/ Fluting On The Hump The The - 45 RPM ELO - Out Of The Blue MLP Limited Millennium Edition (price/packaging was too much to resist a double dip)
Also S.D. or anyone who is in LA and is a fan, they had two nice Porcupine Tree shirts (one was a long sleeve) for 3.00 a piece. They are in the box under the box sets. I was going to bite on them but since I only have one album of theirs I thought I'd leave 'em for a fan.

I got two of them, going to see if my mom wants one (I got her hooked on TSO). If not I will see if anyone around here would like to buy it off of me for $3 (the price I paid per shirt). They had a much larger CD section than the last one I went to and I managed to find three decent CDs, however, they wanted $3 a piece and they were not worth that much as I could find better conditioned ones at Half Price books for less.
I then decided to spend some early Christmas money. First at Best Buy:
Soundgarden-King Animal Special Edition ($16.99) The Sword-Apocryphon Special Edition ($13.99) Black Country Communion-Afterglow ($9.99)
I then went to Mardel, hoping to find Common Yet Forbidden but they didn't have it anymore. I did find a similar band (I listened to the store's demo copy-more death than core with solos):
$13.99
I also got:
$9.99

RIHANNA - Unapologetic
Her best since Rated R. Chocked-Full of vacant, self-serving trash that somehow appeals to me when I'm in the right mood. Well worth the $0 I paid for it.

Just one lone cd in the mail this week...
The Mooney Suzuki - Electric Sweat
AbundaTrade sent me the wrong cd last week. I got Neil B. Rolnick's 'ElectriCity' (who?) instead of the Mooney disc. They told me to keep it and sent the right disc out to me.
Anyone want this?
He looks like Radar O'Reilly with a beard.

I have a very simple rule, if I'm unable to read the name of the band, I won't buy it.

Ahhh, OK. Now that you've spelled it out I can actually see it when I look at it, but without a hint I was like "??"

Have you hear their latest album? It's really good. Much more serious than anything else they've ever done. It's really good.

I scored three of their albums the other day. Now I only need their live album, which I'm not in a rush to get, and one of their EPs, which I just scored off eBay.
I find it bizarre that their albums are so cheap, yet their 7" singles and stuff are like $20. Haha.

Which ep are you looking for? I think 2 of them are combined onto one, The Maximum Black ep. You can get that one cheap too. Nevermind, I see you got a copy coming.
I've got their 4 studio albums now and that one ep. That's enough for me. I doubt I'll get the live album, but who knows?

Yeah, the Maximum Black EP is the one coming to me. There does appear to be an import version of Electric Swear with five bonus tracks, which I might splurge for someday. For an import it's relatively cheap, and since I've spent like $1.99 on each of their albums, I might fork over a bit more for those tunes. Unless I can download them somewhere.
There's a version of Alive & Amplified with two bonus tracks, too. And then there are single with non-LP tracks on them. I don't know. I'll keep looking for stuff as long as it's cheap.

I picked them all up really cheap too, but I'm not gonna go nuts tracking down ever single note they've put to wax. I've got enough of their stuff to keep me entertained for now.
Is the band still together? It just dawned on me that they might not even exist anymore.
