Was that any good? I've caught a little bit on cable and while it seemed kinda interesting, I felt a little lost. To me, it seemed like one of the those movies that the teens would get, but adults are left clueless. It was directed by Edgar Wright (Shaun Of The Dead, Hot Fuzz). It's a film that uses video game rules instead of film rules to tell it's story, so don't expect "reality" but it's a load of fun. It's in no way geared toward the youngest kids out there, I don't think they would even get the jokes. For instance...the band the lead character plays in, the singer is named "Stephen Stills" and the backing vocalist is "Young Neil"...I doubt many people under 25 would even have a clue about that joke. |

| Behind The Music : Blondie (I really hate these "remastered" episodes. They do such a hack job of incorporating the newer portions. And in fairness some of that isn't their fault since so many times the members are now fighting again since the last reunion)
Drive Angry I was entertained by it. Wanted more of the Accountant. He should've had his own movie.

| The rest of RAW and The Big Bang Theory. After an 11+ hour workday, not much time for TV. | |

| Watched a great documentary from Louis Theroux. If you like gonzo journalism and informative, often unintentionally hilarious documentaries, watch everything with this man's name on it. This one was called The Most Dangerous Pets in America and it's about people that own exotic animals as pets.
Great watch, highly recommended.

I saw "Scott Pilgrim" about a year ago and I also wondered at first if I was gonna "get" it, but I ended up digging it. It's goofy as hell (on purpose) and maybe it borders on too-hip-for-the-room at times but overall it was a fun fantasy/comedy. It probably helps if you're into video games, cuz they inspire a major part of the film's "look" and action. Plus, the chick with the day-glo Magenta colored hair (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) is a cutie. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| More Starrcade matches, the highlight of which was:
Dustin Rhodes vs "Stunning" Steve Austin in a 2 out of 3 falls match from 1992. Rhodes looks basically the same as he does now but Austin looks a lot different but still uses the same moves he did in WWE as "Stone Cold".
Austin ends up a bloody mess but wins the US championship from Rhodes. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.
