Some solid albums right there. Well, maybe not the Roger Waters, which I haven't heard, but the others are solid.

Not surprisingly Waters gave Pink Floyd a chose which set of songs to record, either 'The Final Cut" or the Pros and Cons set of songs, the band wisely chose 'The Final Cut"

I am a fan of Waters solo work, but this album is very uneven IMO

Some solid albums right there. Well, maybe not the Roger Waters, which I haven't heard, but the others are solid.

Unfortunatly I didn't have a whole lotta time to browse around the shop. The wife will only stand around for so long while I look through racks of cds. I just grabbed those 3 because they jumped out at me. I never heard the Charm City Devils, but I knew of them from discussions here.

I'll have to journey back up there to Siren Records when I've got more time. They had lotsa cds and vinyl. There may have been a 2nd floor too, but I'm not sure.

I've been meaning to pick up some Gilmour and Waters solo work, so for $3, I couldn't resist. I haven't played it yet though.

I haven't heard it since the 80s, never really warmed up to that album at all. I remember hearing a live FM broadcast from that tour and the material was better in a live context.

The self-titled album "David Gilmour" from 1978 is my favorite.

The Music was such a great band. I remember when I first heard them when I was living in England. It was the the video for "The People" on the Kerrang! TV channel. Blew me away. Such a kick-ass tune, you know.

Anyway, I only bought this one for the bonus disc. Just some live tracks. But there's also a hidden bonus track, a re-recording of "The Walls Get Smaller," that's not on the regular issue. Nice upgrade for $3.

And my Skynyrd collection is entirely two small. This is only my fourth album of theirs.

You know who does that "tribal thing" reallly well? Soup Dragons. Check out this track from their album Hotwired.
