I'm assuming that Dr. Butcher is some sorta bootleg, although pretty well done. Anyone know the backstory on that one?

It's actually an official release. I have it and it's the Doctor Butcher demos and some live stuff. A couple of the demos never made it to the album so they are exclusive to this disc. It's a good listen if you are a Doctor Butcher/Savatage fan.

I'm a casual Sav fan, but never heard the Dr. Butcher stuff. It was marked $8.88, but if you bought 3 or more used, all were just $5 each. I figured for $5 bucks, I'd grab it, thinking maybe it was a rareity. Looking around though, it seems that the demos were added as a bonus disc on the somewhat recent re-issue of the debut. Oh well, still kinda cool.
