Never heard of them/him either.. Sacred Warrior is one of the better white metal bands around so i hope the new guy is a good fit. Their former singer was awesome

- This has all the makings of a truly epic album. I love all of the Sacrificed's stuff... but whats with the crappy production?
It's what holds me back on them, the muddiness in the production. I think they could be awesome but........

| The new guy may sound awesome, but I really don't see the point in putting out an album under the Sacred Warrior name if Rey's not involved. To come back after all this time with a big comeback reunion album... with a different vocalist... I don't know, I just feel like the fanbase is pretty small to begin with, and that's just one more mark against them. If they play any live shows, it's just gonna seem like a SW tribute band. I wish 'em luck, and I'll probably pick it up if it's good, but it really seem pointless without Rey.
As far as distance being Rey's reason for leaving, that's a pretty easy hurdle to get over with today's technology. They could easily send him the material and he could record his vocals at a local studio or even on his computer. And if it's about the live shows... realistically, how many live shows is SW gonna play nowadays? The whole thing just seems silly. They should have kept it together and finished the album, played a few festivals, and if they felt like doing it again at some point, great. In my opinion, it's way too late in the game to be switching it up like this.

| I doubt that distance was the chief problem.

| It would also be much more fair to the fans if they have announced the vocal change BEFORE the Kickstarteer campaign ended... just saying... | |

There's more to it than just distance, and as one of those long term fans (they were my favourite band in my Christian-only phase), to not have Rey onboard after the album's lengthy gestation is a huge letdown.

| Eli has a great voice.
The last The Sacrificed album "III" was great....................but that production made it hard for me to understand all of Eli's vocals.
I believe he is a good pick by the band. Looking forward to it.
And I think the album cover is great - much better than "Wicked Generation" LOL

They will get more fans who remember them from past days rather than using a new name. At least there is only one band. _________________
