Iron Maiden August 15TH!

Picked up a ticket for the show in San Antonio August 15th. I'm beside myself with excitement. I've never seen them, and I keep feeling like time is slipping away. These guys aren't getting any younger. San Antonio is a cool place, so the whole family is going so we can make a trip of it. Woo!

There's a rumor that Maiden is coming to the Canadian Maritimes. I sure hope that happens!

This. They do not disappoint! Bruce is still the best front man in the business. Unbelievable energy! Have fun. I hope they come back to Ohio. I'll need to check their schedule.

Have fun Scott! I finally got to see Maiden with Bruce in 2010. While I was pretty far from the stage (though not TOO bad), it was a dream come true. I have seen Maiden twice in the past but that was the Blaze years. I finally got to see one of my favorite vocalists of all time on stage.

Did you get seats or GA floor?

I got what was described as GA Pit? I'm hoping that means the floor area. I didn't want to be too far away.

Saw Maiden on the Powerslave (World Slavery Tour, I think in 84) and the Seventh Tour in 87 or 88. I remember the giant Mummy Eddie on stage and Bruce jumping all over the place. Loved both shows and endeared me to the band forever!

Yep, that's it!!!!! I have the same!!!!! You'll be able to get pretty close, just come to Dave and Adrian's side up front, not much pushing (on a GA floor like San Antonio that will happen dead center). Janick's side is fun too, but if you haven't them before you should do Dave/Adrian's side.

Thanks for the advise! I'm glad to know that I can get pretty close. This might be my one and only chance to see them, so I want to be reseanably close.

I wish I could see Bruce up close, but I have seen the rest of Maiden (minus Adrian, which is also regrettable) up close (with Blaze). I was such a fanboy and so excited, I got a strange look from Dave Murray who looked at me like 'what the hell is wrong with this guy?'.
