Indeed! I'm finishing this one up and can't believe how much I love it. Funny how your memory fails you. I remember thinking the melody of Testement's music was put aside and recaptured in Formation Of Damnation (I may have had this mixed up with Demonic but even that may turn out to be false-I think I was just in a wierd stage in my music taste at that time, it was over a decade ago after all). However, there is almost no difference between the sound on FoD and this. Yes Chuck does do more death vocals than singing but he still does plenty of that here. | |

| Just finished:   I can understand people who don't like AOR/MHR not liking Trixter, but it is such a mystery why fans of that genre don't like them. Sure the first album is a bit over polished, but neither is it soaked in keyboards. Hear! should be loved by fans of the genre because it has more balls (still polished, but the music is very guitar driven) yet still maintains infectious melody. It doesn't really matter though because I love it and that's all that matters, but it still makes me wonder. Starting:  Great album here, I recommend it to fans of power metal infused thrash. Kmorg can attest to this from our Comp Swap. | |
