Worst Heavy Metal Tattoos

The mind boggles at the "House of Hair" backpiece, and the California KISS Raisins...

This is why, when I had my mid-life crisis in my 30s, I opted for getting my ears pierced. Now that I'm older and more sane I just let the holes close up. If I'd gotten a tattoo, I'd be stuck with it.

God,those are downright terrible. Just amateurish jobs. I hope those people didn't pay too much for those. Tattoos can get rather expensive.

some of the art wasn't so bad. the Dimebag one at the end was fun & light hearted.

And some of the art was sucking the oxygen out of the universe.

Only because it included a lot of non-glam bands. It's like a denim jacked full of patches...without the jacket. I don't see anything wrong with it. Sure looks better than the Slipknot thing or that Atreyu (that's the kitten from the Neverending Story who was scared of two Statues and 'rode' a completely stoned dragon, that's not bad-ass ) or that Ozzy thing...whatever the Smurf it want to say...Ozzy with a Newspaper?

Ill just buy a motorcycle and avoid poking holes in myself.

I never understood tattoos and piercings.
Back when i was younger and in school, lots of the girls got tramp stamps because it was the thing to have. Guys got some tribal crap or japanese stuff they don't even understand. I wondered: Why?
Same with piercings. Why do people want a ring through their nose as if they are some cows or bulls on a farm. I don't get it. It only destroys your body.
Back then they thought it was awesome, 10 years later 90% of them regret their tatoos and piercings but have to live with them til their last day.
Belly Button piercings are also weird. They don't look good and there's that whole fetish of drinking Champagne from a belly button...you can't do that when a piercing fills that hole

just how does it "destroy" your body? it modifies it to some degree, but it doesn't destroy it. no more than a circumcision or a haircut does.

Yea, I kinda liked that one too. The Slipknot one was pretty well-done, as far as the artwork goes.

The "Ozzy on a toilet" is based on a real photo...



While it still doesn't justify the cartoonish artwork, it was at least based in reality and not some sorta weird fantasy.

Or at least, some guy tryin' to out-do that dude. "I can do better than THAT, I'm gonna get on the album cover!!!"

As was the Kiss as California Raisins. The only thing I don't like is the author's comments about Firehouse, Ratt, & Cinderella. Especially Cinderella as they were not bottom of the barrel, they were great blues based hard rock. There are many people who don't like hair metal but like Cinderella. Firehouse had some great underrated music and Ratt only had Jizzy Pearl for a short period of time when Ratt didn't even release any albums.

It's ok, we know the truth. It's easy to bag on hair metal, heck, I do it and I like a lot of it.

Kiss as California Raisins LOL

The California Raisins as Kiss is kinda clever. Still doesn't justify getting it as a pemanent tattoo, but the conception and execution is pretty good.

Now Kiss as Thundercats would call for a Tat.

I liked the Dimebag one and the Kiss raisins. And the hair metal logo stuff was great too. Having a personal vendetta against hair metal doesn't make any of thoese tattooes bad.
