Stopped by the used shop today, and just my luck, cd's were on sale, any 3 for $21. Picked up:

Dream Theater - Systematic Chaos (special edition cd/dvd)
DRI - Dirty Rotten Hitz
Jason Bonham Band - In the Name of the Father (Zeppelin covers)

You got a score there metalguy! I really want that new Dream Theater and that D.R.I.!!!

I have been through it a few times now and it is very good. It is very catchy and patrick does a great job again with vocals. I am not sure how this guy sings in so many bands and manages to still have the power he does with his voice. I think the songs more memorable this time around. They dont all sound the same and have some more melody in the music.

I still think their debut is still up there for all time cds on my list but this one is better than Astralism... Production is crystal clear as you would expect.

I was quite surprised myself to find them. Both were opened, but look brand new with cardboard slipcases to boot.. Normally, the Dream Theater would have sold for more ($13) because it's a double disc, but because the owner knows me, he let me have it as part of the 3 for $21 deal.

There is a big collectors show coming up in Philly this November and I'm trying to talk the guy into setting up a table. He's got soooooo much merchandise in his store that cd's are just sitting in stacks all over the place. He's an older guy with failing health and let's face it, the used cd market is drying up. He's gotta start moving some of his merch before he keels over.
