Judas Priest - Angel of Retribution

Sitting here spinning "Angel of Retribution". I think this is a GREAT comeback record for Priest after the two ill-received Ripper albums.

I agree, kick ass traditional heavy metal rock n roll

I like it and listen to it probably as often as I do any of the other Judas Priest albums I enjoy (basically Sad Wings up through Defenders and then Painkiller).

I love Angel of Retribution, definitely up with my favorites

Great comeback that is only marred by the laughably awful, "Loch Ness." Everything else is primo Priest.

I felt like puking when I read that the band were doing a concept album that would follow the template of "Loch Ness." Egads.

great album. Judas Rising stands right up there with their best songs.

Definitely a good record and my favorite Priest album post-Defenders Of The Faith.

I think I actually like Jugulator more than Angel of Retribution.

Excellent album! I don't mean to cause distress, but I must confess, I even like Lochness.

I don't dislike Lochness, but a whole album of Lochness didn't really trip my trigger.

I remember buying this the day it came out right after work at a Tower records that no longer exists. I played the album a lot at that time and I agree with MC Judas Rising is a great tune.

I dug it as a new release but honestly felt that Halford's RESURRECTION and CRUCIBLE were better discs.

Jugulator = GOOD

Demolition = EXCELLENT!

Angel of Retribution = AWESOME!

I like Angel of Retribution a lot. Judas Rising still gives me chills.

I thought the songs from this album were even better on the "Rising In The East" concert DVD.

HELLRIDER!!!!!

I can't get enough of that tune in particular. I don't think there's a playlist I've made since I first head that tune that hasn't included it. I especially dig the live version on rising in the east.

Very good album that has gotten better with time, I think. I remember hearing "Revolution" a lot on the radio when it came out... love that song!

I watched the DVD of the tour before I purchased the album. Both are good

Halford sounds great on this one - but i loved Resurrection from his solo catalog.
