THRASH vs. HEAVY METAL

That's my favorite.

Thrash is my favorite type of metal. I love traditional metal as well, though.

I'd probably take speed metal over both genres truth be told. I'd probably say thrash by a smidge, but if you had asked me this when I was 15 or 16, I definitely would have said thrash. I suppose I could just say it depends on the band, but as some others have already stated both genres are great, it's best to just leave it at that.

I listen to more melodic hard rock than anything, but I mix it up with thrash, death, black, prog (metal & rock), 80s pop, oldies, classic rock, traditional metal, doom, speed, folk metal, etc.

However, of the two I prefer traditional metal over thrash as too much thrash lacks melody and actual singing (they don't have to be clean singers, but shouts and growls get old after a while).

Just really depends what I'm in the mood for. Might be thrash, death, doom, black or whatever.

I listen to thrash waaay more than traditional. Megadeth and Testament are probably my favorites.

This is a hard cuestion. I love both styles a lot, i even have two tatoos on each of my arms, one saying HEAVY METAL WARRIOR with a fist and an other saying THRASH ATTACK with a warrior with a axe and blood, thats why its hard but i would go for HEAVY METAL.
