| Been listening to it online until I pick up my copy. I can hear some WFO but a mix of their more current stuff too. | |

| I went to my Hastings , and even though it was on sale at their site, in store it was still the regular 15.00. So will be getting it online. And they wonder why the B&M stores are going by the wayside. They only had one copy in store.

I absolutely loved the year that I got it for free. Strongly considering renewing my account For $79 a year, it's a no-brainer. I'll get that back in free shipping in a few months, plus with all the other perks it's fantastic.

| I should get mine very soon as I ordered it along with my pre-order of the new Accept (not knowing it at the time). Course now that I'm waiting on it, it finally gets to Best Buy . | |

| My CD just arrived, today.
The Electric Age absolutely rocks. This album has great energy, production, audible bass (of course - it's Overkill) and with Blitz's vocals on fire , this is absolutely great thrash. I'm actually enjoying this more than Ironbound, ... and Ironbound is a great album.

That's because this album leans more on the classic side of Overkill, something that was not present for a long period of time.

| I think this is the best they've done since Horrorscope. While I like every album they've released, this just sounds like classic overkill to me. | |

| Because of the last couple of albums, I have decided in recent times that Overkill is now my favourite band - based on the fact that they've released so many albums that I really enjoy. | |

| They're on a roll and they need to re-record their classics, similar to what TESTAMENT did in 'First Strike'...I think fans would dig that as well | |

mistake IMHO Way too "trendy" for them. Sure they did a covers album and I bet you'd dig them playing the entire "Under The Influence" album on the tour too ? _________________

| They already re-recorded their classics on those "live" albums they released.

If it makes money, it makes sense..being trendy is way better than 'selling out' Not all of us are a fan of their Raw, thin-sounding early albums..besides there's nothing wrong with it, if it's just for pure enjoyment for the fans then why not?

The vast majority of bands that do this only do it because they have no rights to their earlier songs and they want to make some quick cash. Case in point is Testament who wanted to remaster their early catalog but the label wouldn't let them and thus we got First Strike. Now I like First Strike but are any re-recordings really necessary?

I'd like re-recordings only when a long-time vocalist is replaced. I.e., I'd love to hear more Matt Iced Earth songs done by Stu.

I don't have a problem with the production of their early albums, in fact I prefer that sound to the later, more processed sounding albums like W.F.O., From The Underground, etc. |

| I don't know dudes..."Under the Influence" could use a remastering, the sound is not very good on that.
They should release a medley of the Overkill songs; that would be neat.

| Those early Atlantic CDs are some of the worst sounding of all the major labels, all those need to be remastered...but they don't need to be re-recorded.
