I though it was common knowledge, actually. I think I've read about Zakk being a devout Christian long time ago and on several different occasions, so this is nothing new to me.

No wonder he always got along with Chris Jericho that well.

You mean there are metal musicians who see themselves as Christians even while playing in secular bands. Say it ain't so!

Ahhhh, I see - Well, it's nice to hear he has a faith that drives him forward - he doesn't come off as some of those musicians that suddenly "find christ", and take a 180-degree turn in their personality, becoming a total embarrassment - well, at least that's how some of them sound like.

I'm glad he sees himself that way. But I would've never guessed he was anything more than mildly religious.

Would never have guessed it with all that Whiskey imagry with Black Label Society. But still cool to hear. Shows you that Christians are always found where you least expect them.

Savatage has Hear My Soul and neither Jon Oliva or Paul O'Neil (though Paul admits to having a Catholic backrgound) proffess to be Christians. That and I haven't heard Pride & Glory in almost 10 years.
