| Everybody (pretty much) digs on Headhunter and One Vice At A Time. Which of the two previous lps do you like better ? _________________ | |

| Hard one since both albums are great
but I will go with Metal Rendezvous: Heatstrokes, Bedside Radio, Lady Double Dealer, Tokyo Nights, Fire, Streamer ... f*ck this whole album rocks.
This album is the perfect combination of two styles imo... on the one hand you have a mid-70s Scorps influence and on the other hand, you have the grit, groove and attitude of late-70s ACDC.
Krokus was a really arse kicking band back then, they would soon get lost in the wilderness of the mid-80s pop metal wave and without much success (outside Headhunter). However all the albums up to and include Headhunter were fantastic.
The dip in quality was really noticeable by The Blitz and Change of Address - although both albums had their share of passable songs the band was simply trying to hard to jump on the MTV bandwagon.
Unfortunately not many people take Krokus seriously these days, well the kids certainly know very little about the band's albums and may have only heard the name used out of context in various comedic sketches. But this band was once a real metal contender - how the times have changed...

| I went with Metal Rendezvous, an album that I loved as a kid, and it had cool AC/DC like tune 'Bedside Radio' which I love, and need to grab this album on CD soon. | |

| I had to vote for Hardware. There's only one song there that I don't really like and a bunch of good ones, while Metal Rendez-vouz doesn't have any songs that speak to me.
But I am a really big fan of Headhunter and I think that Hardware has more of that sound than Metal Rendezvouz does.

| Krokus (along with Ozzy) was my introduction to metal. And really they were my intro to really loving music. First love and all that, so they always hold a special place for me no matter what they put out.
Tough call - but I went with Metal Rendezvous since if I had to pick which one to listen to right now that's the one I'd choose.

| I still hold that Metal Rendezvous is my favourite Krokus release. I do like the run of four that started with this one. | |
