I like their PSYCHO CAFE album, have a love/hate relationship with the follow up DANCIN' ON COALS (sometimes when I'm in the right mood I dig that one, other times I find it vaguely irritating), and that's about as far as I went with that band.
Someone loaned me one of their recent CDs a while back (I believe it was called FROM THE HIP or something similar) and woooboy, was that thing a piece of crap. The only good thing about it was the hot girl on the cover.

I enjoyed Psycho Cafe and Dancin' on Coals. They were a bit "funkier" (thanks to bass player Kyle Kyle) than their average hair band contemporaries. Made 'em stand out a little from the pack. And I still have those 2 to this day, so that says something. Never heard anything after that though.
I have Beautiful Creatures debut (Joe Leste's follow-up band) that I pull out every now & then, but it's not as good as Bang Tango.

On a somewhat related note, PSYCHO CAFE was one of my best used-CD scores ever. I got that and Princess Pang's S/T debut at a used CD shop in the late '90s for the unbeatable price of 49 cents a pop.
Man, I miss the pre-eBay days when hard rock/metal CDs were so uncool that store owners didn't think they were worth anything. Now they're like "Holy sh*t! This could be a ULTRA MEGA RARE collectible!" Deals like that are few and far between these days. Sigh.

That is a good song. And it doesn't sound familiar to me at all.How the heck did I miss them ? I actually thought they were the band that sang Bang Go the Bells but I was confusing them with someone else.

I love Bang Tango. This was Joe LeSte's band before Beautiful Creatures. I think my favorite BT song is "Wrap My Wings" off Psycho Cafe.

That's a good one too. Love that song.
I remember a co-worker saw Beautiful Creatures in a small club right before their debut came out. They handed out a 2 song sampler to everyone. The co-worker gave it to me the next day, saying something to the effect of "You'll probably like this, it's sounds like an 80's band".
I LOL'ed when I saw it was Joe Leste trying to "re-invent" himself.

I've actually been getting into some of their later releases lately. Seems like they pretty much went the sleaze route and that works for me fine.
Psycho Cafe is a big sentimental "time and place" album for me.
Have always meant to check out Beautiful Creatures.

GREAT song! But I eventually heard one or two more tracks and didn't like those.

What a coincidence. Speaking of funky BT bass player Kyle Kyle, I read he plays on a few tracks on the BulletBoys new cd of cover tunes...

Never was a big fan, I have a live EP that is ok but it never made me want to look for anything else in their discography.

Oh yeah, great band, seen them live a cpl times. Met Joe Leste, he was so laid back and cool. Really seems like he wants to keep the scene going.
After Bang Tango played, Steven Adlers band came out but the singer never made it to the show so Joe came out and they played the whole Appetite for Destruction album with Joe singing. That was so cool for him to dbl up and give the fans more jamming!
I ordered the new album, cant wait for it to get here!!!

Cool story. Everything I've read about Joe has been positive. He even brought in a vocal coach to help him for this new Bang Tango album. How many "established" vocalists would be willing to do that?

I saw these guys live years ago and then I went out and scored their first 3 albums. Pretty decent sleaze. Someone Like You is a good cut.

You'd be suprised. I read a book that had interviews with Rob Rock, Tim Owens, James LaBrie, Russell Allen, Jorn Lande, Bruce Dicikinson, Matt Barlow, Harry Conklin, and several others and almost all of them have had, still use, and highly suggest using vocal coaches.

Let me warn ya, there's a big difference in sound between Psycho Cafe and Dancin' On Coals IMO. Dancin' has much more "groove" and is more varied than Psycho; it's sort of like a cross between Poison and Red Hot Chili Peppers with a dash of Rod Stewart thrown in for good measure ("Midnight Struck").
