Anybody familiar with Orchid? They sound like vintage 70's Sabbath. I had never heard of them until two days ago.

Exactly, although I admit I bought the "die hard" edition of Capricorn from their label in Germany and it cost me a small fortune. Embarassed

They were talking to Metal Blade about US distro...but that was several months ago...I guess it fell through.

Hopefully they'll get the budget for a decent recording for the next album. The drums on Capricorn sound like cardboard boxes and the entire thing is very flat and muddy sounding. The material is good, but the weak recording definitely reduces my enjoyment.
