Quiet Riot & Skid Row Last Friday Night!!! - PICS!!!

We (my youngest son David and I) went to see Quiet Riot & Skid Row last Friday night... what a concert! They both did most of their classic material, as well as some newer stuff. Both bands were in top form! I bought David a T-shirt from both bands (for the complete concert experience). We were right up front against the stage all night... and at the end of the show, Scotti (guitarist for Skid Row) pulled David up on stage with them. David was in his element! These tickets were a birthday present from me to David, and as we were leaving the concert he says, "Dad... BEST birthday present EVER!!!!"

THIS is what ROCK N' ROLL is ALL about!!!

I'm taking my son to see Ted Nugent in a few weeks. We have front row seats and are suppose to be getting backstage passes. That will rule!

Right On Waylon! You've been hitting some good shows lately!

Very cool! I took my 12 year old stepson to see Metallica recently. And he loved it too. We got to stand in a special area where behind the security fence. This fella wroking for the band spotted my stepson in the crowd, and told me to take him up front and we would be guided to this special area of the stadium. We ended up right beside the big screen, the stage, and the PA!!

Other than Kevin DuBrow, who was playing with Quiet Riot.

I can't wait till my sons are old enough for me to take'em to their first rock show... I hope some of "my" bands are still kickin' by then, haha.

I always imagined me taking my older son (who's about to turn 5) to a Metallica show when he's a teenager... I'd be the old bald guy in a faded AND JUSTICE FOR ALL shirt screaming out song titles that they haven't played live since the 80s and my son would be goin "Who, that guy? Nah, I'm not with him, that's not my Dad. I've never seen him before in my life."

That's definitely cool. That photo actually made me respect Skid Row more. Not that I had any disrespect for them, but still, it's great that a band did something like that.

It makes me feel bad for slamming their new album. Haha.

I took my 7 year old to see Motley Crue last year. My wife wasn't to crazy about the idea of it and afterward I kind of wondered myself if it was really a wise move. After all the Crue were pretty crude. We had a blast though and he even got quite a bit of free stuff given to him for coming. Oh well it's precious memories that no one can take away from us. One day Motley Crue will be to him like Led Zeppelin is to us.

How did your son like the "show us your tits" part of the show? Haha.
