anyone ever heard of The Prayer Chain?

They play alternative rock with a gritty edge to it. I think they broke up years ago. But if you are into this type of music, you might like em.

I used to have either thier first or second album back in the 90s...I remember it being pretty strong.

Yeah, their first two are very solid offerings.

I wasn't as big of a fan of their 3rd one though ... and never did pick up their fourth one.

I never knew they did a 3rd or 4th...

I have Whirlpool EP. I need to get their first full length but i keep forgetting...

Yes, I have all of their stuff and if you can find these two hard to find albums, The Neverland Sessions and Live At CBGB's at a decent price, get them, I highly recommend them. Every album by them was completely different from the previous one; the Whirlpool EP and Shawl are my personal favorites.

Exactly "Whirlpool EP" and "Shawl" are both actually pretty incredible slabs of alternative rock. Some of the best of the genre.

I'll keep a lookout for those rare ones. Thanks for the mentions.
