| Good call on Iron Butterfly! Also T. Rex, but they had many other great tunes that should have been hits! And Mountain, what an under-rated band!!! | |

Up here in Canada, they are considered legends, and are much more famous.

Even though they "Hate Everything About You"? Yep, I still like them anyway. It's a sick and twisted life I lead. I don't recall if their cover of Cats in the Cradle was a hit as well?
Here's another I thought of Green Jelly AKA Green Jello pre-lawsuit. Yeah, it was. Since they had hits off of more than one album, and have a "greatest hits" album, they are not a one hit wonder band.

If you're talking about the same Tommy James, he had some other hits. Crimson & Clover (covered by Joan Jett), Crystal Blue Persuasion and I Think We're Alone Now (who can forget the Tiffany version!).

I didn't know that this was limited to the 80's? I thought it was just any one hit wonders period. It's not. I just wanted people to share the OHW's that were rock and roll at least. I didn;t want someone to list the Archies or the Cowsills or some other 50's doo wop group. Peace.
