Heart Of Metal's "Favorite Guitarist" List

This list is akin to what Uncle Sax posted awhile back, but this list is the "Greatest Guitarist" list (as if the thread title didn't give you a clue).

List your Top 5 guitarists in order, with No. 1 being the highest and No.1 being the lowest

Points System:
No. 1 - 5 points
No. 2 - 4 points
No. 3 - 3 points
No. 4 - 2 points
No. 5 - 1 point

As for genres, I don't think it'll matter. You can include jazz, blues, reggae, rock, and whatever else you want. A little diversity would be cool, but don't intentionally try to be diverse for diversity's sake. Remember, it's YOUR OPINION.

At about the end of December, I tally up the points and name the top 20 guitarists and the "Honorable Mention" lists.

Guitarist for Firewind. Also used to be in Mystic Prophecy, Dream Evil and a half dozen other metal bands.

Gus G was chosen as the third of the three best guitar players all over the world in 2003 by the Japanese magazine BURRN!.
