These guys just lost their rhythm guitar player but already have a new one that i'm waiting to check out. I started listening to them when they first came out and they pretty much kick ass. If you like your lyrics more in the social commentary vein of things you'll dig that aspect of this band as well as the hard hitting rhythm sound.

Propain has always been an underrated band. a little metal, a little hardcore, & a lot of kickass.

I've got a few Pro-Pain disc, I kept passing them over in the used CD store because for some reason I thought they were a punk band. I like them.

I've been more into other genres of metal lately; but for what they did Pro-pain were damn good at it. Another band I liked at that time were the Sepultura spin-off Nailbomb. Good stuff.

One of the hardest working bands in the industry! Damn nice guys too, took them out for beers in Greenbay WI years ago. The new single is excellent, can't wait for the full to land!!-TJ

Which one? Age of Tyranny? It's already out, bro. Even the US version. And it's sick! Meskill is getting better and better.
Pro-Pain have been one of my favorite bands ever since Foul Taste Of Freedom. I was—am—a big Crumbsuckers fan, so Pro-Pain was a no-brainer. "Foul Taste Of Freedom," the song, still gets my blood pumping. An absolute classic album opener.
The band has never let me down. Meskill may play the bass live, but the dude is a serious master at writing killer riffs on the old six-string. Pro-Pain is the perfect workout band. Very simple stuff, but it's brilliant, if you ask me. And Meskill writes some killer solos, too. Outstanding band! Every CD is great. They could have done without Ice T on "Put The Lights Out," though. Haha.

Recently got into this band myself. Very good mix of thrash, hardcore, and plain ol' heavy metal.
Their album Act Of God absolutely kicked my ass!

Those turds are weak! Not the band, the weaklings in the video. The Berlin wall came down quicker!
Anyway, not only is Age Of Tyranny still amazing, the band is currently mixing their new album! It's called End In Sight. I cannot frickin' wait!

Being as I grew up with Crumbsuckers I've followed Pro-Pain for a while. I definitely prefer Crumbsuckers though. Love both Life of Dreams and Beast on My Back. All I currently own by Pro-Pain is Contents Under Pressure and Age of Tyranny. I've owned many more at one time or another though.

I wish they'd re-record it with a real drummer. The album is great, and sounds great. But the drums do sound like a drum machine, unfortunately.

Really? WOW, I'm shocked!! Dan Richardson is one of my all time fav drummers. He makes every song imo. I actually thought that his kick pedal on that cd was one of the best sounding ever...

Haha. Nope. That's a drum machine.

You know, I've always heard OF them, but never actually heard any of their music.
I do love the CRUMBSUCKERS immensely though.

Metal/hardcore veterans PRO-PAIN have completed work on their new album, "No End In Sight", due in Europe on August 22 via Soulfood/Rawhead, Inc. The CD features guest appearances by Stephan Weidner of BÖHSE ONKELZ and Rob Barrett of CANNIBAL CORPSE.
The track listing for the effort is as follows:
01. Let The Blood Run Through The Streets 02. Halo 03. Hour Of The Time (feat. Stephan Weidner) 04. To Never Return 05. Where We Stand 06. Phoenix Rising (feat. Rob Barrett) 07. Go It Alone 08. All Rise 09. God's Will 10. The Fight Goes On 11. Where We Stand (Ream Mix) (Bonus Track)
In a recent interview with Bulgaria's Tangra Mega Rock, PRO-PAIN frontman Gary Meskil stated about the new CD, "We think it's our best album yet — Rob from CANNIBAL even said this is our 'Master of Puppets'! It's not as plainfully political as 'Age of Tyranny', which I think was really up to the times in terms of its political content. This time I wasn't so inspired to write something as deeply political. There are shades of politically inspired material in it, but I think it's vaguer in that sense. However, we're really happy with the lyrics on this one — it lends itself to interpretation a little bit more, and everything is a bit more grey and hidden within the lyrics."
PRO-PAIN released its latest album, "Age Of Tyranny - The Tenth Crusade", in Europe in March 2007.

I am all for Pain. So I am Pro-Pain......
LOL!
I kill me....
I do like Pro-Pain (the band) of course. I've liked them since 92, and first hear of them because they were opening for Testament that year. I didn't see the show, but I knew that a band I had never heard of was opening for one of my favorite bands, so they MUST be good....

Did you know Korn opened for Testament back before they were known?
