I would hope that all of the suckers who sold their houses, quit their jobs, etc. during this last round of whoop-de-doo wouldn't be dumb enough to fall for Old Weird Harold's line of bullsh*t again, but somehow I doubt it... look for this thread to get a bump again in October when the sign wavers and RV's start popping up on TV again.

Apparently he misunderstood; 5/21/11 was only a "spiritual judgment". The physical judgment isn't until 10/21/11.

i guess if he sets the end of the world at 5 month intervals, he is bound to be right at some point

This guy is really off his rocker.

He's older than dirt with a foot in the grave, but that doesn't stop him from getting a thrill from screwing with people's minds.

He should be worried what God may do to him for leading people astray.

The more I learn about this guy, the more I think he is a con-man that needs to be fined or jailed. He messes with people's minds and then makes light of it when he's wrong. Not to mention he is helping to create a hostile environment for true Christians. Some groups (especially atheists) look for any reason to mock and this guy is making it easy.

I know the gullible people that believed him are also to blame but this guy is in the business of planting seeds into naive minds.

Somewhat unrelated note, but I thought it was funny: I watched part of the movie "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs" with my kids last night, and one scene made me think of Old Weird Harold and his End of the World Patrol....

At one point during the film, the world is in danger of being destroyed by storms of gigantic food falling from the sky. The scene cuts to Times Square in NY, and two crazy looking guys are standing next to each other wearing "end of the world" signs... one guy's sign says "The World Will End TODAY" and the other guy's sez "The world will end TOMORROW." When the guy wearing the "TOMORROW" sign gets crushed by a gigantic meatball, the other one starts jumping around and doing a victory dance like "I was RIGHT! I was RIGHT! Woohoo!"

I stand by it. We don't really know what he is doing with the remaining "donations". Just like other cons like Jim Baker etc...

He basically said they can deal with their losses and he doesn't care.

I think he should be held accountable for causing mass paranoia and financial ruin. He needs to make things right and at least show some remorse and pay as much money back as possible to the families that he deceived.
