Nice write up as usual, Mister Fred. As far as tribute albums go, that one's a humdinger. I think I might have purchased that one as a new release back in the old Tower days.

Aside from the obvious hits, there was a few deeper tracks that I was unfamiliar with that sparked an interest in all things Alice that continues to this day. I should take that one out for a fresh spin. Vince Neil singing the praises of necrophilia always put me in a holiday mood.

There's a scam going around Facebook right now offering a bogus "Lifetime Pass" to McDonald's or other fast food outlets... I saw it so many times today that it inspired this lil' rant:

You're not gonna believe this, guys, but I just got an email telling me that I won the Canadian lottery. I've never been there or played the lottery there, but... man, I don't know how, but I won!

I really enjoyed reading those last two entries Freddy!! I am a huge Bond fan and I own the full set of movies up to Skyfall. My fav 007 is Roger Moore, as I grew up watching his adventures and still love films like The Spy Who Loved Me and even the much derided Moonraker.

Cool man! Yea, I'm a big time Bond fanboy too. Moonraker was my first 007 flick when I was a kid so it's a sentimental fave. I have yet to see SPECTRE but it will be available from RedBox in about two weeks so I will be checking it out soon.

If you've never seen any of the "Eurospy" knockoffs I wrote about, most of them are on YouTube if you wanna check em out - I especially liked "Lightning Bolt," it was a hoot. Out of all the Bond wanna be's I've watched so far it came closest to copping the 007 vibe in spite of its cheese and crackers budget. ☺

I hope that Tara Reid "Ravenous" project isn't a remake of the 1999 movie of the same name loosely based on the cannibalistic story of The Donner Party.   I like the original just fine thank you.

Back in the early 80s it seemed like "Treasure of the Four Crowns" was played on cable almost as much as "The Beastmaster."

I hadn't seen this cheapo Spanish "Raiders of the Lost Ark" wanna-bee since I was in junior high, aaaaand... yep, it was just as awful as I remembered!
