| I want to see Krampus only because that's the name of a seasonal beer from Southern Tier that has the story of the Krampus on the bottle which is the only reason I know what it is.
Oh, and the beer is awful. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| And you missed one, "Rare Exports". Although the shorts from which the feature length film is derived are better. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

I still say the shorts are better than the feature though. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| The worst part is that I have all those. I hate Christmas so I revel in the Christmas horror movies. Don't forget the Tales From The Darkside episode with "The Grither". And I bet you can't guess which one I voted for... _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

I seem to remember you recommending "Santa's Slay" to me several years ago (for which I am eternally grateful) so I'm gonna guess that one. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

I seem to remember you recommending "Santa's Slay" to me several years ago (for which I am eternally grateful) so I'm gonna guess that one. Bingo! I just LOVE that movie! Every time I watch it I pick up on a new joke. And the cameos and performances are just great IMO. You gotta love any movie that skewers James Caan's hands with turkey forks, punts an annoying Pomeranian into a fan and set Fran Drescher's hair on fire all in the first 10 minutes. And features Bill Goldberg as a demonic Santa who's backstory is told via "Rudolph-style" Claymation. Oh, and he didn't just "lose a battle with an angel", he lost a "curling contest". That just makes it even funnier! But now I'm just nitpicking. You've done a nice job rounding them all up FF. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| First new entry in a while: This week in 1978, the four members of KISS each released solo albums simultaneously. Their management was obviously banking on a massive, four-times-bigger-than-usual sales coup but it ended up backfiring big time, and was the beginning of the end for the original lineup. http://fatfreddyscat.hubpages.com/hub/KISS-The-1978-Solo-Albums-Review _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| Nice write up as usual. Ace's is the only one of the solo albums I own. I do have some of the other solo tracks from the other 3 that were included on the KISS IKONS box set. I'm assuming they cherry-picked the best tracks for that set. Did you see this? A new book detailing the 4 solo albums. Comes out this Friday http://www.kiss78soloalbums.com/ _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. | A double shot of new HubPagery!! First, an early Schlock-Tober review of an oldy but goody, Lamberto Bava's DEMONS: http://hub.me/ajPZR Then, an anti-Halloween religious wacko puts the "Fun" in "Fundamentalist." Don't eat that Halloween Candy - it could have a CURSE on it! http://hub.me/ajEv2 _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| Twenty years ago today Iron Maiden released THE X FACTOR - their first album with new lead singer Blaze Bayley. ...and the Maiden fanbase responded with a polite "Mmmmmm...no thanks." http://fatfreddyscat.hubpages.com/hub/Retro-Metal-Review-Iron-Maiden-THE-X-FACTOR-1995 _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

http://fatfreddyscat.hubpages.com/hub/Retro-Metal-Review-Iron-Maiden-THE-X-FACTOR-1995 Pretty much.... heard it and Maiden was dead to me........ That said, the album does have some good songs. I do live Sign of the Cross..... but only with Bruce singing it! I met Blaze, very nice guy, spoke to to me and a friend for close to an hour. Wrong for Maiden though. | |

| So far I've been able to avoid both Blaze-era Maiden albums. Aside from a song or 2 that have appeared on a comp or live album, I've never heard either. For the longest time, I just pretended they didn't exist. Oddly enough, I've enjoyed Blaze's solo albums. Wolfsbane never quite clicked with me though.
Lately I've been thinking about picking them up, 1.) to fill the gaps in my collection and 2.) to see if they are as bad as I've been told. Maybe they got a bad rap at the time but aged ok. I'd kinda like to hear 'em for myself.
I'm certainly in no rush, but if I found either one on the cheap, I'll probably grab e'm. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

| You know the whole "Halloween is of the Devil" mantra is a load of crap if my parents not only let my brother and me go trick or treating but also actively decorated the house and handed out candy. I'm talking about parents who didn't let me listen to rock music or go to the movies or (heaven forbid) school dances. I didn't even have a stereo until I was 14 when they apparently finally gave up on keeping me from such Satanic influences.
So if Halloween is approved by Toho's parents rest assured these other people are full of it. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Yup. And no movies either.
Probably helps explain my CD and DVD collections.
Don't get me wrong, I think I had a very good, responsible upbringing but I sure would do things a lot differently if I had kids of my own. Who knows? Mine might turn out worse. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| New one..."Tremors 5" is coming out this week so I did a quick run down of the previous films in the series. Once I see the new flick I'll update it with a review. http://fatfreddyscat.hubpages.com/hub/Tremors-5-Bloodlines-2015-the-Graboids-are-Back _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

A$$ Blasters My sons (8 and 12) love the "Tremors" movies. I think of them as "starter" movies for kids who are becoming interested in scary/horror stuff. There's just enough monster goo in those flicks to make them go "Eeewwww!" but it's not so hardcore that it'll freak them out/cause nightmares. ...anyway, when they first intro'd the "Ass-Blaster" creatures in (I believe) Tremors III, my kids laughed soooo friggin' hard I thought they were gonna pee themselves. Apparently, hearing the term "Ass blasters" being spoken out loud was the funniest thing either one of them had experienced in their lives up to that point. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"
