Stryper had better songs & better vocals imo. Dokken never appealed to me at all.

I've never heard either of those releases. I chose Dokken though. I wouldn't be caught dead listening to Stryper.

Why not? If you've never heard them, then you don't know what they sound like. Why would you make the statement "I wouldn't be caught dead listening to Stryper."?
