| I voted for Dokken by default. I never heard the Stryper album, aside from maybe a song or 2. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

| 85 must have been a slow year since those two made it to the top. Voted for Stryper, good album but hard to understand it would be the best album released that year..... | |

| Love both records, but UNDER LOCK AND KEY has aged better than SOLDIERS in my book. Sorry Stryper, you lose this one. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| I voted for Dokken. I just love "Unchain the Night" and "Lightning Strikes Again" whereas I don't particularlly like Stryper. | |

Voted for Stryper, good album but hard to understand it would be the best album released that year..... Sort of weird that those two made the Top 2 for the year. I guess we have a lot of Dokken and Stryper fans here. Most other years are dominated by Maiden, Priest, Metallica and Anthrax. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| Don't get me wrong, I like the Dokken album...but it's a commercial pop-metal album...and there were SO MANY better (and heavier/edgier) records that year. |

Who knows, maybe someone's not paying attention, then all of a sudden POW! New Testament right between the eyes! _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

Hahaha is that really a song title? That's funny. Yes, that is a song, but it's not a Stryper song. It's a cover... - Quote :
- "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" is a hymn by American writer Julia Ward Howe using the music from the song "John Brown's Body". Howe's more famous lyrics were written in November 1861 and first published in The Atlantic Monthly in February 1862. It became popular during the American Civil War. Since that time it has become an extremely popular and well-known American patriotic song.
