| Listening to U.D.O. - Man & Machine. U.D.O. hasn't released a dud yet IMO. Personally I think U.D.O. has released a more solid catalog than Accept. Hard to pick favorites but some of my favorites (not including EPs and Live albums) are:
U.D.O. 1. Holy 2. Animal House 3. Man & Machine 4. Thunderball 5. Solid 6. No Limits 7. Mastercutor (although this one is new and could climb higher) 8. Time Bomb 9. Mean Machine 10. Faceless World
Accept 1. Restless & Wild 2. Ball to the Wall 3. Metal Heart 4. Breaker 5. Objection Overruled 6. I'm A Rebel 7. Russian Roulette 8. Death Row 9. Predator 10. Accept 11. Eat the Heat

| Just checked the tour dates and there are NO U.S. tour dates. Bummer. They are touring Europe with Primal Fear. That would be a great show!
Last time U.D.O. toured the U.S. was on the Holy tour. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| i prefer Accept to UDO, but it's all good. my fave Accept are Restless & Wild & Balls To The Wall.
my fave UDO is Mastercutor, simply because it's the heaviest one. i did not care for Holy all that much. _________________

| I don't have any U.D.O. releases but he is on the list to buy (eventually)> Too many cds,not enough money. My fave Accept is Balls to the Wall. Not a weak tune on it. | |

| Sadly, my Accept & U.D.O. collections are lacking. I have a few of each, but there are lots of holes in my collection. Both bands are hard to come by and I'm too cheap to buy imports. I tend to reach for UDO moreso than Accept, but I like 'em both. | |

| U.D.O. and Accept are both flamethrowers! Just great metal bands! One critique of U.D.O. i have is that i -think they were a better band when Matthias Dieth was in the fold. His fretwork was quite impressive, and i think the songs were stronger and more memorable on the older U.D.O. albums.Anyway,i can't fault them for anything they've put out post-Dieth-Udo has stayed metal and thats good enough for me. |

| I have almost all of the Accept albums but only three UDO discs -- ANIMAL HOUSE, SOLID and HOLY. All of the U.D.O. discs kick ass but I haven't had time to go hunt down more of his catalog.
I wept when I could'nt go see UDO when he last played New Jersey in '99 (on the HOLY tour), not only because it was the first time he'd set foot on US soil in who knows how long, but also cuz he was taking Raven (!!) out as his opening act... I still wonder if UDO and Raven did a live jam on "Born To Be Wild" at any of those shows??

U.D.O. was the opening act but they still played for quite a while. Got to meet Udo, Fitty & Igor, as well as Biff from Saxon, after the show. Also, Peter Dirkschneider from Vanize was running U.D.O.'s merch table.

| Speaking of Vanize...what a killer band they are in their own right.First time i heard Peter's vocals i thought it was Udo.I remember getting "Twins" and "Bootlicker" and being impressed how much those suckers ripped ! Great band. |

| Cool photo Uncle Saxon. I met Udo as well, but didn't have a camera to shoot off a picture. I did have my "Holy" digi with me and had him sign the front cover. | |

| To cool, Saxon...
My youngest son is nicknamed UDO....
...because that's what I wanted to name him for real...but I lost that fight....(almost got FERGUS though) but in the end he is SIDNEY...
But we've called him UDO for awhile... _________________ "Oh man, I need TV? When I got T Rex"
