| I used to own his Greatest Hits, but the local classic rock station burned me out on him (along with the Who, ZZ Top, and many others) and I sold it on eBay. Talented guy and I liked his stance years ago against the record companies overcharging for his albums. Stick it to the man, Tom!! | |

| He's alright. Kind of a crack-pot though. I don't think I've ever seen a video of his that I wasn't saying, "what the heck were they all snorting when they made this"? Same with his lyrics...strange, crack killzzz. | |

| I'm a Petty freak have everything he has put out including everything on vinyl including boots. Most of his newer material is fantastic nothinh like his earlier material which was more pop orientated. The Last DJ is geared toward the record companies and how they try to own or make the bands the way they want them! Highway Companion is probably one of his best cds in the last 15 years. Anyhow love TP & HB. Wargod48 | |

| Love his hits. My favorite is a tie between Rebel Wihtout A Clue and Running Down A Dream. | |

| I like Tom Petty! "Full Moon Fever" is my favorite album. I like them all to differing degrees and for different reasons though. I'm not real familiar with everything, but from what I've heard - I like it all. |

| I like a lot of his early stuff. I dig Full Moon Fever, and absolutely love Wildflowers for some reason. Haven't heard any of the Last DJ other than the title song and honestly couldn't stand it. I agree with the sentiment but it seems way to late. How long ago was it that the DJ chose what to play rather than go through a pre-approved pre-selected play list handed down from corporate? At least 30 years would be my guess. |
