If you are a follower of tom Petty and his early days then you would know that Mudcrutch was actually one of the first albums he did but the record companies did not want any part of it! So they became what is known today as Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers. But the Mudcrutch days were actually some of his most brilliant writing IMO.
Well Mudcrutch is back together will all the original members and touring, 3/5 of them went on with Tom. Well below is their first video "Lover Of The Bayou" great song!

Not bad, but I gotta ask the question. If it looks like Tom Petty, sounds like Tom Petty, why don't they just call it Tom Petty?
