Out of curiosity again, what are the different professions represented on this great board?

I'm a lawyer, specialized in intellectual property, namely trademarks and copyrights.

I am a cook by trade, though not a chef (I do not have papers). I have been in this business since 1988. My current job is that of a kitchen manager. I order food, hire cooks (and fire some) and do a ton of back office reports (labour costs , food costs, variances, etc.)

I'm about to get admitted as a lawyer next month.

I'm working as a paralegal at the moment for a top tier firm. I'm most likely going to continue specialising in corporate law - particularly sales and purchases of businesses.

I'm a Civil Engineer working for the New York State DOT. I've designed roadways, sidewalks, drainage, etc. I did some highway inspection work on construction jobs. Now I work in the Traffic and Safety group working on the state's Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) maintaining the equipment out in the field. Basically ITS uses equipment to manage the roadways that are in place because there is no more room to add more lanes to the highway.

I was a Paramedic and Surgical Technician (Pediatrics) for 12 years up until last year when I was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's and went on disability.

I now work from home as a radio personality on a few internet and terrestrial radio stations for my show, The Master's Metal.

I'm just a clerk in a grocery store.... nothing exciting. The union benefits are still good, for now.

My wife is pushing me to go back to school to study IT stuff since she thinks that I am good with computers.

I did that all through college and then some. Cashier, gathered carts, stocked shelves, swept, mopped, etc. Worked every department except deli/meat 'cause they were a different union.
