This band is one of many bands I discovered by way of the $2 section at Nuggets in Boston.
So Nuggets is a real place?
There's this powerpop song from, I assume the early 80s..maybe late 70s..by a band called the Tweeds, called "I Need that Record." In the song they say "Get your spin from Nuggets 'cause they got everything".
For some reason I always assumed that reference had something to do with the Nuggets compilations. I did not know there was a store called Nuggets. And then, does the store have anything to do with the comps?

Yes, it's a real brick & mortar store. I visited one myself a few years ago when I was in Boston. I think there are a couple of locations in the Boston area. Don't know if there is any connection to the Nuggets box set.

Interesting. But yeah, there is a store called Nuggets. They've been around since 1978.
Not sure if they ever did anything with compilations.
EDIT: Just read online that they're "named after the seminal ’60s garage-rock compilation." So there you go. I never knew that. =)

There used to be two locations, but now there is only the Kenmore Square store, near Fenway. Most of the other shops closed up loooooooong ago, so the fact that even this one is still around is pretty cool.

Hi guys,
Here's the debut track from the new album, "The Many Sides of Truth", coming April 29th.
I bet. Haven't listened yet, but I love all their album, so I expect to dig this one.

Sorry for the bump.
Wanted to let you guys know, the next album will be coming this year. Recording this spring!
Also, if you could...please check out the other band from myself, Tom (bass) and Sal (drums) called Buckshot Facelift! We just put out the new EP for that in November. This is my first recording with Buckshot, and we have been playing a lot of good shows in support.

Finally, another new project is on the horizon, so more details on that soon.
