Believe it or not, it isn't! hahaha

I've passed over this album for awhile because I thought the same thing. Cannibal Corpse is their main influence (I guess pot is also). They pay direct homage to CC by choosing their name and by using pot references to "parody" the song names and album title. And while their style is similar, the songs are their own and they are really good. I know for you "death metal" and "really good" don't go together, so you'll just have to take my word for it.

Yeah, I guess I'd hate it but I still give 'em credit for their band and album names. Those alone are funny.

BTW, "back in the day", when times got tough I was often a member of the "tube of the resinated".

I've actually never heard it in its entirety. I'm more familiar with "He's A Woman, She's a Man" and "Sails of Charon" due to the cover versions by Helloween and Testament, respectively.

But the Scorps Discography thread got me on a mission to fill in the gaps in my collection so when I saw this today I jumped on it.

What's Digger? It looks cool.

I think they're punk/power-pop. I've either had some of their stuff on CD and unloaded it or I had it on vinyl. I recognize that logo.

I was given a few Itunes gift cards, so I used them on these until I could pick up the discs...

That's a different Digger. The "Digger" that were also known as Grave Digger only released one album, "Stronger Than Ever." When that bombed, they went back to the "Grave Digger" name.

The logo sure looks a lot like the logo on that CD Locky bought.



Slightly different I guess but it sure looks similar.

And I still think I either had or have Locky's Digger on vinyl.

Besides the logo, I remember the "duck in knight's armor" artwork.
