| Those are idiotic prices. This CD is not worth half of that amount. Not even close. | |

20$ is the total MAX that CD is worth. Those range of prices are absurd. I have seen the CD's of Decimator "Carnage City Mosh Patrol" go for those amounts but NOT that Flotsam And Jetsam album.

| As far as I know, the album isn't even out of print. I did try to order it from CDUniverse.com earlier this year, and it was on backorder, and eventually, my order was canceled. | |

| Funny thing is, I could've sworn I saw it in the Marketplace there months ago for like $15.
I think what happens is some greedy idiot puts a high price so then all the other sellers take notice and think they have to do the same too, not taking into account whether it's really OOP or rare in the first place.

| Good grief. I got the first two F&J's in a trade at another forum maybe three years ago, and all I traded for'em was a couple of crappy promo CDs. Go figure. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| I got mine for like 5 bucks from secondspin about two years ago. I'm sure it will come down to more realistic prices once someone puts up one priced to actually sell.
One of my favorite amusements with ebay are the listings that take common/readily available Cds and tag them with RARE!, HARD TO FIND!, or OOP!. It's even better when they put the starting price at thirty bucks.

| Actually a remaster would be cool but I don't think this is happening any time soon. I made be wrong though. | |

You never know... Metal Mind or some other small label might do it.

| True. Metal Mind is releasing about everything under the sun nowdays. I still don't remember how their issue with Crimson Glory ended though. | |

Jon Drenning foamed at the mouth and threatened to sue Metal Mind over the Crimson Glory box set they announced, to which Metal Mind went "Pfft, whatever, screw you, fudgebag" and released it anyway. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

Probably. Metal Mind released the Crimson Glory albums before anyway, just in the form of single digipacks and Drenning did not say anything so I think his uproar was totally unfounded. That and they licensed the albums from Roadrunner.

That's how I'm signing my Christmas cards this year!! I probably paid $5 or $6 bucks for my copy a few years ago in a used shop. But I'll part with it for $100. Any takers? _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

| Anybody got a copy of Ratt's first EP on CD that you wanna unload? As you can see, Amazon prices for that baby range from the somewhat reasonable ($79) to the completely insane ($300+) too. http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B000008JT4/ref=dp_olp_used?ie=UTF8&qid=1292860771&sr=8-1&condition=used Dang. And I got me a copy of that one for nothin' about four years ago. Score! _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| I can't remember what the price of this C.D was when the thread was started, but it was considerably more back then. I found a used copy at the store I frequent. I'm on a first name basis with the owner Brian, and I laughed at him when he only had the C.D priced for $6.99. I told him he dropped the ball on this one, and I offered to pay more for it. I like this guys store, so I hope he stays around for a while. He admittedly screwed up when pricing it. He was going to give me five dollars for the two C.D's I brought in, so essentially I paid the $6.99. Then I spotted a scratch/dent item in that of Badland's "Voodoo Highway" for $3.99. It plays fine, so I made out well today.
