| Sanctuary's Into Mirror Black - brand new selling between $1995 and $2000. No matter how classic that album is... no album is worth $2000 bucks... unless it has some hidden backwards message about attaining immortality or how to contact God or something really out there like that....

| Unbelievable, no album is worth that much!
On a related note, I was amazed at the price of some CDs on Amazon I got cheaply. I have a Seven Nations CD that goes for $75 used (I got it for $3.98], Fear Of God-Within The Veil that goes for $50 (I got it in a buy one at $5, get another free), and Armageddon-Three for $75 (before it was reissued in a double CD-I got it in the buy 1 get 1 bin).
Luckily Amazon does have the expensive stuff availiable cheaply for download (though I am reluctant to go the digital route-like most around here I prefer the physical item). The average price for a Running Wild CD is around $80 but the download is only about $10.

The most I'll pay for something that rare is about twenty bucks.

Probably so. Or deep down they really don't want to sell the cd.

| Yeah I've seen that one before. Meanwhile that album packaged with Refuge Denied costed me 15. Haha.
Darkness Descends is often listed for ridiculous amounts too, but I got each of my two copies for really cheap.

| I got my ITMB for about eight bucks off ebay. Now if I could only find Refuge Denied for that price. The amazon price for that one bounces around a lot. My back-up plan is that packaged disc.
The worst is Cryptic Slaughter's Stream Of Consciousness. Thing never comes down in price.

| Two albums that amaze me are: The Akryal album and The Reverend E.P.
1st on the Akryal, Akryal was the 2nd project of a friend of mine whos first project was called Grim and his current project is called Hguols. I asked Tom about the album being nearly 2 thousand dollars and he laughed and said it must be because the guys thinks it is really rare. LOL It is rare as heck only about 50 copies or so was made, but who cares?!
Next I have been looking to obtain a copy of David Wayne's last project before he did the Wayne album and later passed away called "A Gathering of Demons" Which was a E.P. that Reverend put out that actually had Christian lyrics written by Wayne! This one goes for around 150 to 300!

Last time I checked it was like 300 bucks or so for a used copy. If you pay attention on ebay, you can catch it for around 60 sometimes.

| That's nuts. I got INTO THE MIRROR BLACK from Best Buy three or four years ago for like $8.99.
Someone here pointed out awhile back that U.S. copies of Overkill's IMMORTALIS (on the now defunct "Bodog" label) are going for about $100 on Amazon now, which mystifies me, since European/overseas copies are as common as mushrooms and can be had for $10 to $12.

I sold the atlantic press of W.F.O. for like 70 bucks last year, that one I didn't understand at all.

Wow, I just found a copy of INTO THE MIRROR BLACK like two weeks ago for $3.95. I was all over that. I remember seeing both of Sanctuary's albums at best buy, too. I also got my copy of IMMORTALIS at best buy as well. I remember because I got it on the monday night before the release date. Someone in the store must have made a mistake and stocked it. And, yes, it is on the Bodog label. Nice to know if I ever need a buck or two.
