1000 total or first week sales? Bingo. No demo band is selling 1000 copies in the first week of release.

| How's the production. The last couple have seemed flat to me. |

| The production and songs on the new album are great. Definetly better than Dreams Of Death. _________________ | |

Not to mention from a new label from a guy who called himself Head and left K orn because he found Jesus ( nothing wrong with that part) and released a solo album that was a commercial flop, so all things considered maybe 300 is not so bad. People are wondering on the Blabbermouth why they'd sign to his label. Flotsam & Jetsam did tour with Ko?n back in the mid 1990s. I would say they probably became good friends with Ko?n on the tour, regardless of what their opinions of Ko?n's music are. So I think that likely has something to do with it.

People are wondering on the Blabbermouth why they'd sign to his label. Because it's a label that is willing to take a chance on the band and release their album... Let's be honest. Flotsam's only claim to fame is that Jason Newstead was their bass player on, what, one album? They're managed to ride that fact for 20 years now and, as good as some of their albums may be, they've never been a big name...even in the 80s/early 90s... Kudos to them for sticking to thier guns and doing their thing, but 600 sales in a week on a new album by a 20+ year old band who never really made a huge dent anyway isn't really all that shocking. _________________ FINAL SIGN

| I lost track of Flotsam quite a long time ago (last album I ever heard was Natural Selection-and I haven't heard that in over 10 years), but I will order the new one once I have some money because I've always felt they were too underrated (Cuatro is still one of my favorite albums) and I hear good things about this one. | |

It's called Unnatural Selection, actually.

It's called Unnatural Selection, actually. As I said, I haven't listened to it in over 10 years. It was one of many CDs I regretfully got rid of in 2000 after I became a believer.

| My copy arrived today. I'm pretty blown away! I really like that they haven't really tried jumping on the retro thrash band wagon and just play their own brand of somewhat modern thrash metal. Sounds all around pretty solid, but so far my favorite tracks are Hypocrite, Take, and KYA. | |

Not what you were expecting or just bland? _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

| The samples I heard didn't do much for me but the production is great.
The riffs, lyrics, and vocal melodies don't particularly sound well-written to me.
