| I've heard some of their stuff. Very good. "The Battle of Armageddon" makes me want to break things. | |

| pretty good death thrash band! They were both recorded at morrissound I think, definately classic. Members came back recently and reformed under the name Opprobrium and play similar style but with christian lyrics. | |

| I think they changed the name to Opprobrium and immediately dropped off the edge of the Earth. | |

| Both of these have been released under the Opprobrium name (that is how I finally replaced my cassettes). I agree....very good death/thrash metal. I always put them in the category of 'early Kreator/early Sepultura'. Not sure whatever happened to them......they are one of those bands that deserve to release more than 2-3 albums (ala Demolition Hammer, Atrophy) based solely on their music---not promos, hype, hot topic, number of myspace 'friends', etc. IMO, of course. | |

| Their Discerning Forces album is really good as well. Highly recommend it.
They also released an album a couple years ago called Mandatory Evac, which is unfortunately plagued by poor production (or lack there of).

They dropped off the face of the earth, the pop Incubus then came along, THEN they changed their name to Opprobrium There's actually an amusing review on Amazon with a fan of the pop Incubus warning people off it . I have the Nuclear Blast digi with both albums on, but wish they'd put the original recording of Serpent Temptation on there. Great stuff! Metal Mind recently reissued their catalogue under the name Opprobrium.

Metal Mind recently reissued their catalogue under the name Opprobrium. Is this what you were talking about? http://www.amazon.com/review/R3CHSWQIC3IEF1/ref=cm_cr_pr_cmt?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B00004TDDP&nodeID=&tag=&linkCode=#wasThisHelpful

| Nope -this is the one: http://www.amazon.com/review/R3IRG0DOQ41YLB/ref=cm_cr_pr_perm?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B00004TDDR&nodeID=&tag=&linkCode= I like how he calls the band impostors, not the REAL Incubus There's also a number of responses which explain why the name was changed (basically it wasn't copyrighted). I'm not sure how anyone who sees the cover or track list could possibly mix up the two bands , but it has evidently happened! One of thge reviewers gives BTO one star and then says he doesn't 'know about this band'. People are strange... you'd think hearing the album might be a pre-requisite for reviewing it. | |

Sometimes I think 'reviewers' read other reviews and give their opinion to sound trendy. I dont think everyone does it but it is interesting to see how bands trend the same in a lot of reviews. _________________

| I'd swear it's Max Cavalera on the mic.
