| I was a big Bride fan up to 'Scarecrow Messiah'.... I saw 'em in L.A. 1987/88 at a Metal Midnight.... They kicked butt.... but I'll never forget when he told us to Mosh It Up and then when we started to Mosh. Dale told us to stop or they'd quit playing..... oh boy....
enjoy this clip... Dale shreds...

if you want to see a clip of the show I'm talking about I found one 1988 Metal Midnight in Fontana... they perform Heroes.... and it DEsTROYS..... by the way after watching this clip you might see a blond headed kid head banging.... that I believe is yours truly.... oui vey......

| Bride are great. I've not liked everything they did, but when they were good, they were great! _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| "Snakes in the Playground" is an excellent hard rock CD... I haven't heard much of their other stuff, but what little I have heard, I can pretty much take or leave except for "Snakes" though... | |

| Good stuff - My favorites by Bride are the first 3 albums and Snakes - with Live To Die being my fav Bride. I wish they would have stuck to the metal roots instead of following every trend | |

| One time we went to see 'em in L.A. in which we thought was going to be in support of Silence is Madness.... They played a bunch of Guns & Roses type crap and only a medley of 3 tunes that anybody knew.... yeah.... | |

Try Kinetic Faith, very similar album, easily obtainable. Depending on the day of the week either Kinetic Faith or Snakes is my favorite Bride disc.

| My band opened for them at LSUS on the Snakes tour, still one of the highlights of the old band days. I have the entire show, both us & them on VHS & just watched it last weekend for the first time in about 10 years. I must say we both put on a killer show that night. | |

| Yeah I was at that same show mr electric. I hated Bride at that show! They had just released Silence is Madness and they played totally different stuff. Way disappointed. I think Deliverance were the best at that show! Did Recon play that? I can't remember. | |

I think Deliverance were the best at that show! Did Recon play that? I can't remember. Bride just cashed in on the L.A. Express it seemed... In my opinion they can play either power metal or bluesy/GNR style stuff very well. Clearly they've lasted because of that adaptability.... However I've not purchased a NEW cd from them in 15+ years... used for $4-6 bucks yea... I just hate it that Christian bands can't remain true to their musical niche... except for maybe Ultimatum !!!! No I don't believe Recon played that one. I was down in L.A. like every week it seemed !! Too many good shows... 350 miles from SF to L.A. Anyway... I remember that Vengeance played and totally and completely KILLED at that show!! When they played 'Into the Abyss'... It was awesome... soooo heavy sounding... My friends and I couldn't believe it... I would bet that Recon mighta been scheduled to play, but cancelled. It was a miracle that their disc was made, just from some of the stories circulating at the time. drama... always drama...
