This press release is misleading. It should read more like this...

It's a shame IMO because I think the songs are pretty strong. But the vocals just really get under my skin.

I like their first album a lot. Didn't care for the second one, at all! Got the chance to see them live and they were really good!

Did anyone catch their superbowl commercial?

I think both of their albums are very good. It took me a while to get them though, because of Justin's vocals. For a long time I kept saying "this would be such a great band if he just didn't sing that way!" Now I have no problem with it and I'm looking forward to the new album.

I thought that free download was going to be a cover of Starship. I like it.

I picked up their first album at a flea market for a buck a coupla summers ago. It's ok, but the vocals still kinda grate on my nerves.

Love both of their albums and singles. I will get new material from them.

Now I know I'm getting old, cuz bands I didn't care for the first time around are now getting back together for "reunions."

Never got into this band, but I remember when that "Thing Called Love" video was getting major VH1 play years back. I couldn't decide whether they were a serious band or a Spinal Tap style parody. I thought, "If this is supposed to be a parody, it's brilliant. If not, then it's crap."

The first 2 times I seen them on tv impressed the heck out of me.
First was Thing Called Love played live on the David Letterman Show.
Never heard of them before and I hadn't heard a good new rock band probably in years.

Then I seen a video that made me think I was watching a classic QUEEN gig from 1976!

I can see where The Darkness is one of those you love em or hate em bands.

I think they are great! They play I Believe in a Thing Called Love and Dinner Lady Arms on the muzak at work. I need to get both of these albums. Awesome music and I actually like the vocals.

Can't wait for this. The new songs aren't bad, not as good as anything on their first two albums though. Maybe they'll grow on me.

I'm looking forward to new stuff from The Darkness. Been really digging One Way Ticket over the past couple weeks.

Agree!!! Excellent album and can;t wait for the new one!

I love everything The Darkness have done. Their first two albums are awesome, both 10/10 albums for me. The new songs sound great, so I have high hopes that the new one will be somewhere near the level of their first two.

Heard a track on the radio and the vocalist is like a dentist drill, you couldn't pay me to listen to a full album.

Anyone heard their latest, Hot Cakes? Not really got into so far, but Everybody Have a Good Time is a great track.

Most of the The Darkness singles, are for sale on the discogs site....
