Man my diet sucks. This may not be the thread to be reading while on a diet .
At the new Narnia movie (Studio Movie Grill), I had coconut chicken with fries and an Extra Long Island Iced Tea (no matter how hard I've tried I can't make it like they do at home, even with their recepie). Probably not but seeing that others are having culinary fun when I am not. My diet is pretty strict so I cannot afford to have any of those yummy things. I love quesadillas for example and they are a nono - corn is in them so no go. See, that is really unecessary unless your doing it to be healither. If you doing it to loose weight, then it's not what you eat but how much you eat. A diet expert had an article (don't know where it's at otherwise I'd post it) where he described a diet he was on that had him loose weight and lower his cholesteol. He ate almost nothing but snack food i.e. Doritos, Ho-hos, pizza, etc. But what he did was limit it to 2000 calories. He even did it whith minimal excersize. He said it was the most successful diet he ever went on after trying several other ones. It was either called the 7-11 diet or the convenience store diet. Not trying to tempt you, if you really think this diet is the best way to go then keep on trucking. But limiting your calories is the best way to loose weight (something I desperatly need to do), not starving yourself. | |

| I am actually doing for both. I exercise regularly now (Jeet Kune Do classes plus a home one and half hour workout every second day) but I wanted to burn fat and return to health. My diet is the Dukan diet - quite popular in Europe. The first phase would be eating only slim protein (chicken, turkey, slim beef, - that sort of stuff) for a week - sort of to prepare you organism for it. I love meat so it was no problem for me. The problem is - no bread or anything of that sort. I am at the second phase now - 5 days protein, 5 days protein+vegetables. The best part - I am a ton more healthy and lost 10 kilos of weight in about 3 weeks. | |

| Steak gorgonzola pasta from The Olive Garden with a chesse filled toasted pasta on a bed of alfredo topped with marinara apetizer. I still have some left (the steak gorgonzola) but I don't think I could eat aything else for quite a while (and it's been almost 7 hours-unusual for me). | |

| My roast was excellent.
Does it get any easier than throwing a hunk of meat in some onion soup mix and dumping in some potatoes and carrots about halfway through cooking? Simple meal in one pot. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.
