What's For Dinner?

decided to make teh homecooked meals for meself and guest the past couple of days, did not photograph the blackened mahi, but this is the bangers & mash with ice cream float (Sunkist Citrus Fusion with Haagen Daaz vanilla bean, pretty much beyond amazing).

Had to work late, so my wife made soup and cheese sandwiches(mine was swiss and cheddar).

Too hot in the house so I had perogies and ice-cream.

Ate out last nite at Texas West BBQ.... had a tri tip.

My grocery store had a special on chicken that is certified as cage-free and vegetable fed and gave a number you could enter on the web to find the family farm it came from.

I have to say, this chicken was much more flavorful than the chicken I usually get. I can't say I'd buy this stuff at the regular price but there really is a difference between chicken raised in battery cages and shot up with antiobiotics and chicken that can peck around in a farm and eat what they're supposed to eat.

Freezing down here in Aussie land, so a lamb roast was a great end to a cold Sunday!
