How did that turn out?
pretty good , I think I may try letting the marinade go overnight instead of just a few hours though next time. Excellent!!!! I brined the chicken in watered down orange juice with mexican oregano, onion salt, garlic salt, salt and pepper overnight. We'll see how that turns out. cooking now..........

cooking now.......... daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn...that sounds good. Besides onion/garlic salt what kind of seasoning do you use for like steaks and hamburgers? I usually throw on this stuff called johnnys but was thinking maybe trying something new.

Besides onion/garlic salt what kind of seasoning do you use for like steaks and hamburgers? I usually throw on this stuff called johnnys but was thinking maybe trying something new. On burgers I just usually use plain old Lawry's Seasoning Salt or S & P. I have a bottle that I mixed up called Creole Seasoning from a recipe online that uses: INGREDIENTS: *2 1/2 tablespoons paprika *2 tablespoons salt *2 tablespoons garlic powder *1 tablespoon black pepper *1 tablespoon celery salt *1 tablespoon onion powder *1 tablespoon cayenne pepper *1 tablespoon dried oregano *1 tablespoon dried thyme *Combine all ingredients thoroughly. plus I cut in about a tablespoon or two(your discretion) of the Lawry's . Another rub, that I got out of a magazine, for steaks, and I don't use this often, is equal parts cumin and coriander, half that amount of salt and pepper and one eighth amount of clove. It's very interesting and tasty. I do a lot of stuff just on a whim. Sometimes it works other times.......... not so........

| I used my creole seasoning on a tri-tip that I bbq'd on Sunday and it was a yumfest. We had it with mashed taters and brussel sprouts.

| Last night was sausage, peppers & onions in red sauce over rice. Today's lunch is the left-overs. BURP!! _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.
