| So what concerts have you seen or are going to see, or even for that matter hearing rumors of may possibly tour this year. For me this is a busy year...and very unexpectedly, but I am glad for it. So far I missed Megadeth here in Pittsburgh, I didnt know they was coming till I seen video footage of the concert a day or two later advertised on Blabbermouth. Anyhow: Porcupine Tree - May @ Mr Smalls June - Styx, Foreigner and Kansas @ Starlake July 5th - Scorpions w/ Cinderella @ Station Square (yay!! glad they are coming this way) July 14th - Iron Maiden @ Starlake Sept 16th - Rush @ Consol Energy Center, no more Igloo. (Nice surprise) This is turning out to be one great summer for music concerts. Havent heard about anything else yet. | |

| This year it's been a lot of local shows mostly.
I did see Goatwhore and Thy Will Be Done (death metal band) in Feb. That was a good show. Goatwhore always does tear it up. Like me my death metal though ...
I was gonna see Cannibal Corpse with Skeletonwitch, but sadly I had to cancel that one due to an out of state transaction.
I plan on seeing Iron Maiden and Dream Theater on June 16th!!! WOOO!!!

- June - Styx, Foreigner and Kansas @ Starlake
I went to see Styx and REO Speedwagon last night. It was my first time to see either band perform live. I was a huge Styx fan when I was a kid, Equinox through Paradise Theater, and I was afraid I'd be disappointed. Now, all I can say is WOW... Styx was fantastic! I was thrilled to see Tommy Shaw and James "JY" Young perform, and they were tight, locked in. Great show. Oh, and I enjoyed REO Speedwagon a lot more than I thought I would. Great uplifting energetic performances by both bands.

| So far there hasn't been anything special, I only saw Master from the bigger bands this year, and I should've Omen last week but their show was cancelled due to their a$$hole German agent ... But the future looks better: This weekend - Keep it True festival in Germany (I hope that the US bands get there - there's still too much vulcano ash in the sky ...). Anyhow there should be bands like Anacrusis, Watchtower, Candlemass playing the entire Epicus Doomicus Metallicus w/ original singer, ADX, Satan's Host with Harry, Fifth Angel, Hades, Savage Grace, Demon, Tygers of Pan Tang ...) Then there is May - Blaze Bayley May - Heathen June - Sonisphere in Czech Republic (Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, Anthrax, Heaven and Hell) July - Manowar July - Bang Your Head festival (Twisted Sister, Forbidden, Queensryche, Fates Warning, Jag Panzer, Krokus, ...) | |

| Went to the Roadburn festival from Thursday til Saturday, and it was awesome! Unfortunately six bands cancelled (including Candlemass, The Gates of Slumber and Shrinebuilder), but I still saw some great bands. My faves were Pagan Altar, Death Row (who got to play twice!), Witchfynde and The Lamp of Thoth. | |
