| It's weird with all the metal guys having neck and back problems from headbanging. Getting old sucks...

| Mick Thomson from Slipknot. Actually, everyone from Slipknot are constantly in pain, I believe. I also believe the guys from Amon Amarth have some neck trouble as well.
Cliff Burton complained about his neck hurting before he died. It night not have been a chronic pain, but pain nonetheless. | |

| I have bone spurs & bulging discs in my neck; carrying a bag/strap on one side makes me physically ill. How in the hell can they stand having that heavy guitar on the same shoulder for hours at a time I always think now??!  Ignorance was bliss. | |

| When I gentely roll my neck around it cracks and cracks. Too much headbanging I guess. It doesn't stop me from headbanging though. (I wish there was an emocon doing a 'windmill' or the 'side to side' headbang via Araya or Mike Howe).  | |

| Playing in band is pretty hazardous for your health period, deafness from the noise, hurting your neck and spine from head banging, breaking bones from moshing or crowd interaction (if you play in a violent band  ). But its all for the good of music!  | |
