POWER ballads only here, no sap ballads. I'm not talking "Heaven" by Warrant

Actually, Styx has quite a few "power ballads":
Crystal Ball Suite Madame Blue Grove Of Eglantine Come Sail Away Man In The Wilderness Fooling Yourself The Best Of Times

I was shopping in a Walgreens over the weekend and this song came on the store P.A.... without even realizing it, I was walking around humming "IIIIIIIIIIIII'm saiiiii-ling awaaaaaaaaaayyyyy..." under my breath as I shopped.

Did you sing it in Eric Cartman's voice?

Howzabout some 'a these?
Warrior Soul - "The Golden Shore" W.A.S.P. - "Forever Free," "Hold Onto My Heart" Barren Cross - "Heaven or Nothing" Scorpions - "Holiday" (they have dozens of ballads of course, but "Holiday" is my fave) Shotgun Messiah - "Living Without You" Crimson Glory - "Lonely"
I almost put "Lullaby" by Warrior Soul and I forgot "Holiday" and "we'll Burn The Sky" by The Scorps. I dig that Shotgun Messiah song, funny as hell.
Aargh, how could I forget Blue Oyster Cult - Astronomy! That's probably my favorite song ever.
Great song but I love the Imaginos remake of it better than the original.
I love the Imaginos version too, but it doesn't quite reach the greatness of the original imo. But then again, my opinion could be clouded by nostalgia, haha.
Now that we're talking about BOC, I think Blue Oyster Cult off of Imaginos deserves a mention too. I absolutely love that track, one of their finest.
