Ha ha yours would be easy to catalog I have just gone over 10,000 cds so mine would a year or so to catalog

Because I LIKED CD-Tracker, CD-Tracker was easy and the list was printable very user friendly. Ill never do those list sites again unless its my own, because if I have time to mess with a site like rateyourmusic which I just dont like the layout or the format then I have time to work on Rock City which Ive been neglecting

I'm not sure which format you're using but there are two different views for the site. I use the old view, but there's a new one (which I don't like) which I'm sure it is defaulted to when you sign up these days. You might want to try switching and see what you think if you haven't already done so.

I haven't messed with the film section. I think all that stuff is fairly new. That or I just haven't been paying attention to anything other than the music portion.

And yes, I LOVE the fact that it can be specific about issues. I've had to add quite a few myself to represent properly!

I'm in the process of totally revamping my collection.

No, I've been just super super busy lately.

Barely had time to check the boards in the past few days.

I hope to tackle this sometime when I have some free time though. Still planning on it.

Finally got all of my vinyl uploaded. I forgot that I have cassettes, mp3s and cds of some these albums on vinyl. Some I've just kept in LP form for the covers.

I missed this thread, I've been working on my collection there, I'm slowly adding the vinyl that I have, and I'm trying to create pages for those bands that are too underground to care.

I just read this today and I am glad I have kept a lot of my vinyl especially since I am going thru a vinyl phase.

I use it, mainly to rate films so I know i've seen them. As for the music part, I find that the seperate issues thing is dumb. If you rate a seperate issue, then it should be included in the general rating. It's dumb that if you look on the artist page, you can't see your ratings because you didn't rate the general issue. I just keep track of mine on a spreadsheet, it's easier.
