He should have named it "Out of Touch". Seriously, they could have Easter record a solo album on his love for "The Burning Man Festival" and make it a two pack.

| Funny how Tourniquet has been quiet for 7 years, and Ted now has all these releases coming up this year. There is also a new Live in California album from 1998 available for download. | |

"Stop The Bleeding (From My Ears)" Parts I & II Seriously, I have never really dug this band at all. I bought STOP THE BLEEDING as a new release years ago, the vocals annoyed the p*ss outta me, so I ditched that pretty quickly. Years later, I gave WHERE MOTH & RUST DESTROY a shot when I found a cheap used copy, figuring "Well, that vocalist who annoyed me has been outta the band for a while now, let's try again" and that album did nuthin' for me either. Great players but I dunno, they've always seemed a little too "out there" for me. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

So true. Their music is VERY, VERY indulgent I think.

Pathogenic Ocular Dissonance is good, so is Psycho Surgery (good, not great) but the rest I could do without.

| They think outside the box a bit, but that is good sometimes because it makes them unique. If they just played run of the mill metal or thrash it would be boring since there already are a million bands that sound alike. | |

| My biggest complaint has always been Luke's vocals. I never cared for his singing style. | |

| I'm not a huge fan, but I like them well enough. I'd give a new album by them a fair listen. Probably wouldn't be a top priority, but if I liked what I heard, I'd get it. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

I'll def. be buying the new TQT. But the Tediquet I migh pass on. _________________

Their music is VERY, VERY indulgent I think. A lot of progressive stuff is... But the best prog has tight, specifically-crafted, focused arrangements a la DREAM THEATER, FATES WARNING, CYNIC, etc. Meandering around at the listener's peril is not acceptable in good prog any more than it is in any other genre.
