seems to just be some kind of variation on the Lovecraft 'Shadow out of Time' plot...apart from that it probably just sounded cool.

I don't know, the music sounds generic and boring to me. In fact, I think it's missing a
good riff and some good songwriting. What made you think this was the best thrash song TOB?

It always struck me as kind of a vague anti-drug song.

I love Forbidden! This song is great, but my personal favorite from them is "Chalice of Blood".

Not THE Best but pretty good.I Love Forbidden and that album is one of the best Thrash albums of all time.

I don't imagine a best thrash song could ever be determined. We all like what we like. If you made a poll of 100 songs to choose from. It is a safe assumption that if you put "Other, please list", as a choice. There would be another list of 100 songs.

Ahh, interesting observation. Yeah, that could be it.

Good song, not the best ever imo but a worthy entry.
