Ah! Another Elling fan! Awesome! As I am a choir director with a vocal jazz ensemble, I tend to listen to a lot of vocal stuff. Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Louis Armstrong, Mel Torme, John Pizzarelli, the aforementioned Kurt Elling, New York Voices, Lambert, Hendricks & Ross. Obviously, I'm a huge jazz fan.  That's a great list there -forgot the ladies of jazz! Elling is an incredible talent -Freddie's Yen for Jen is one of the greatest songs of all time. | |
