| ...contemporary or classic.... I juggle with either Rachmaninoff or Holst. I'm by no means a connoisseur of classical music, but it's tough to beat Holst's "The Planets" Suite. Sheer beautiful brilliance. Rachmaninoff's music just has a light, airy feel to it without being too sappy sounding. Great stuff! |

| without nitpicking periods, it's currently Holst, followed by Brahms, and then Rodrigo, and Stravinsky. | |

Yes I think John Williams would count. It is amazing to think how much music he has created and we have heard from him from music being a constant presence in movies. | |

| I like Strauss and Tchaicovsky. Beethoven, Mozart, Orff and Bach are up there too. I actually have a decent Classical collection... very basic, but I have most of the major composers covered. | |

| I like a lot of different composers, many already named: Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Tchaikovsky. Stravinsky's "Rite of Spring" was one of the first pieces to absolutely grab me by the cajones in college and not let go. Incredibly brutal, yet beautiful piece. Must have appealed to the metalhead in me! Another piece that was very moving the first time I heard it was Benjamin Britten's "War Requiem." Simply awesome. Favorite? Hard to pick just one. These I have mentioned are where I go when I am in the mood for classical. | |

| I have a Tsaichovski cassette at home that I love. I only like the faster and piano and/or violin driven songs, regardless of composer. | |
